TOROK HILL RESORT
The focal point of South Lombok is undoubtedly Mandalika, a special economic zone that covers 1,175-hectares of coastal land and will eventually be home to more than 16,000 hotel rooms, a waterpark, 27-hole golf course, 1,500 villas, and an international-standard motor-racing circuit. The estimated cost of the venture is believed to exceed US$3 billion.
Yet what sets Mandalika apart is that it is a development trying to avoid the trappings of previous luxury developments, such as those in neighbouring Bali. With up to 51% designated ‘green space,’ from the outset and various clean energy initiatives in place, the intention of developers is to create something that works in tandem with nature, by becoming a template for sustainable development.
The Torok Hill Resort in Lombok is located a 30-minute drive west of Mandalika, on a stepped hillside overlooking the Indian Ocean. Also focusing on sustainability, the two projects complement each other perfectly as the southern coastline of the island looks to establish itself as Asia’s prime eco-tourism destination.
Leading up to around 80 private residences, the resort features 22 units of two-storey bamboo villas, each with a private swimming pool and direct contact with nature. The Torok Hill Resort in Lombok is the first beachfront project of its size on the island’s southern coast.
Set for completion in early 2023, the Torok Hill Resort in Lombok is a high-end luxury destination featuring sustainable design and locally sourced materials. Comprising of 22 duplex bamboo villas on the beachfront and more than 80 one-, two- and three-bedroom villas located on a stepped hillside with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and private swimming pools, it promises to firmly put the Indonesian island on the map when it comes to luxury living.
Sustainability is one of the pillars of Invest Islands and each of the 100+ units at Torok Hill Resort will feature energy-saving features such as rainwater catchment tanks, greywater reuse systems, and solar roof panels. Our two-storey 700sqm Waves Beach Club and Restaurant will be constructed from locally sourced bamboo and recognise indigenous architecture.
Designed to the highest standards, the Torok Hill Resort in Lombok maximises the use of local materials and clean energy, while combining the island’s traditions with photogenic features able to create global exposure in a modern world.
With more than 80 villas spread across a stepped hillside, every property has ocean views, while some even have offer sunrise and sunset vistas. With various designs and plots available, we have options for most budgets.
The first major south-facing beachfront resort in Lombok, our project at Torok Hill sits in front of an alluring aquamarine ocean and paradise-like white sandy bay.
