West Nusa Tenggara governor, Zulkieflimansyah, appreciated the operation of the fast boat (J-Trip) that transported tourists from Sanur, Bali to Kuta Mandalika ahead of the World SuperBike (WSBK) event. The Governor said that the presence of this fast boat could be considered as an alternative when the price of plane tickets are expensive.
Not only that, with this fast boat, it can also reduce the distance and travel time for tourists who will vacation in Kuta, Mandalika, especially those who want to see up close, the implementation of “sports tourism” World Superbike (WSBK) this November.
According to Zulkiflimansyah, the existence of this fast boat will certainly boost the number of tourist visits, especially those who want to enjoy all the facilities available in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
The Governor also requested that the presence of the fast boat be supported by all parties and made it easier, especially in the document processing procedures. This fast boat route from Bali to Mandalika is another new breakthrough for Lombok tourism, especially Central Lombok.
According to J-Trip, government support is very much needed for the progress of Lombok tourism. Moreover, Lombok is already known to the world for holding various international activities. The fast boat route starts from the Sanur pier, then to the Nusa Penida pier – departing for Mandalika with a travel time of 2.5 hours.
