The beach cleanup event attracted around 50 participants from various community segments, including local volunteers, members of the Puncak Gili Lawang Sejahtera Business Group (Kube), and officers from the Sekotong Police. The day began with a tribute at the grave of Inaq Bangkul, a revered local figure, where attendees cleaned the gravesite as a sign of respect before moving on to the beach.

Syafaruddin, the Community Development Officer at Invest Islands Foundation, emphasized that the cleanup was aligned with the foundation's mission to foster environmental stewardship in West Lombok. "By commemorating Heroes' Day through such activities, we not only honor our heroes but also instill a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation," he explained.
