A number of architecturally iconic villas are currently being prepared by Invest Islands. This real estate investment company in Lombok presents a beachfront and hillside resort overlooking the Indian Ocean, precisely in Torok Bay.
The facility is scheduled to open in early 2025. Visitors are only a short drive from the local international airport to Gran Meliá Lombok. The resort is nestled amongst palm trees and features world-class facilities, including a clubhouse and restaurant.
Bali-based Architecture & Design Studios has developed a range of creative residential concepts, including the Moroccan Kayma tent suite, the minimalist Aurora villa, the Inspiral eco-luxury villa, and the La Residenza Bauhaus style residence.
Senior Executives from Meliá Hotels International recently traveled from Spain to Lombok to see the property, which will be Indonesia’s first Gran Meliá resort. The delegation was led by Enrique Ortiz, Vice President of Global Operations for EMEA & Asia Pacific.
“We are very happy with the progress of Gran Meliá Lombok. Our partners, from architects and designers to artisans and construction teams, work tirelessly to ensure that this unique resort is completed on schedule and to the highest standards of quality and sustainability,” said Jack Brown, Co-Founder of Invest Islands.
“Torok Bay is one of the most beautiful on the island of Lombok. As we strengthen our presence in Southeast Asia and increase our commitment to sustainability, Indonesia’s first Gran Meliá resort represents a strategic opportunity for us. We invite you all to discover ‘A Life Well Lived’ at Gran Meliá Lombok,” added Ortiz.
Sales have opened for Gran Meliá Lombok, which is expected to attract young executives from several countries, such as Hong Kong and Singapore.
Gran Meliá Lombok has been named “Best Upcoming Hotel Development” in Indonesia and “Best Hospitality Development” in Asia at the PropertyGuru Property Awards.
