Among the most powerful economies are left behind countries such as the UK, Canada, France, Germany, South Korea, Russia and Suadi Arabia.
According to PWC, Asia will remain the fastest growing region of the world overall, with Indonesia on course to become the world’s 16th trillion dollar economy, drawing some attention away from the traditional hubs of China and India.
Emerging markets will start to dominate rankings of the world’s top economies by 2030, according to a report published by #PwC.
The report ranks countries by their projected global gross domestic product by purchasing power parity (PPP). PPP is a model which describes the purchasing power and therefore value, of a given currency.
#Indonesia ranks 5th on the list of the 21 Most Powerful Economies.
It’s not surprising though that this one and only nation in the region could project more towards 2030.
