The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has entered an agreement with its Indonesian counterpart, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK; Financial Services Authority) to promote innovation in financial services in the two respective markets. “Indonesia, with the largest economy in South-East Asia, hosts a fast-growing financial technology sector.”
ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) invests in agreement with #Indonesia. According to Commissioner of ASIC, John Price the agreement establishes a framework for cooperation between ASIC and the OJK, with the Agencies agreeing to share information on emerging market trends and regulatory issues arising from the growth in innovation.
