Bradly Tupa

SALES director

Brad graduated from Augsburg University with a degree in History.  After graduating, Brad realized he had passion for sales and worked in several different industries.  Throughout his years as a sales professional he worked in different commodities markets from bullion to collectable coin as well as art. 

Brad joined Invest Islands in 2017 and immediately created growth in both its sales and employees/staff . In addition to working with his own clients, Brad oversees the entire sales team and office staff. 

Working at Invest Islands has been a unique experience for Brad because of his personal investment into the additional aspects of the company, beyond just sales. Invest Islands has a major focus on the Indonesian people, economy, and environment on Lombok and surrounding areas. They have also created a charity, Invest Islands Foundation, which works on many projects including, supporting a local orphanage, building a village school, and cleaning up the beaches and ocean. 

Brad’s work is more than just a job at Invest Islands. He is proud of his role within the company, working with the clients and employees in Hong Kong, and being able to support the projects in Indonesia.

Jim Birkett


Jim Birkett, originally from Derby in the UK, arrived in Hong Kong at the turn of the Millenium looking for a career and lifestyle change. With more than 20 years of experience working for multinational media companies, including Haymarket Media and R. Norton, as a regional business development manager, as well as being a headhunter in the legal and banking sector, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role at Invest Islands.

A family man and rugby coach, he is particularly proud of the company’s commitment to bringing Lombok to the market for foreign investors and the work of the Invest Islands Foundation in local communities.

Kevin Harris


A born and raised Londoner, Kevin brings more than two decades of real estate experience to the team, both in buying and selling in the hectic markets of London, Spain and Hong Kong. His primary focus is helping investors source property from overseas and guiding them through the investment process from start to finish.

Kevin lives with his wife and two children, a boy and a girl, both born in Hong Kong. He embraces the hustle and bustle of the busy city but also relishes his retreat to family life at the weekend.

Alan Patrick


Alan has extensive sales experience working for top medical tech companies. Going beyond the traditional sales role though, he has headed up cost-saving initiatives and trained operating theatre staff, including surgeons, in a variety of roles.

After heading up the sales team for a leading Hong Kong health tech company, he became fascinated by the world of investment. Joining Invest Islands, Alan uses his consultative approach to sales to understand his clients and help them make positive, informed decisions.

Alan has a long-held passion for sports, athletic performance and nutrition in his personal life, competing in judo from a young age and even being selected for Team GB. To this day, he competes in the disciplines of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and powerlifting.

Jack Lavalette


Jack attended Swansea University, where he attained a first-class degree in Law. After graduating, he spent time within the legal department of Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong as an ISDA Documentation Negotiator, before completing his Masters in Law and obtained a distinction. As he gained first-hand exposure to financial markets recovering from the Global Financial Crisis, he gradually became more fascinated by wealth management. Returning to Hong Kong from mainland China where he had been studying Mandarin, he led the sales team of a co-working startup and helped open in more than 22 cities across seven Asia Pacific countries. Jack lives with his wife and two children, both of whom were born in Hong Kong, and spends his time playing sports and music.

Patsy Cheung


Hong Kong-born Patsy Cheung is a graduate of City University, Hong Kong with an MBA in International Business Management and a Bachelor Degree in Business Studies. Patsy began her career in the hospitality industry in the early-1990s, initially with Holiday Inn’s regional office in Hong Kong, followed by the Inter-Continental Grand Stanford Hotel. 

Working in the hotel industry, Patsy gained a broad perspective of the hospitality industry while traveling extensively to hotel properties in the Asia-Pacific region, China and the United States. Since 2000, Patsy has gained over 20 years of sales & marketing experience and opening restaurant experience for fine-dining restaurants including Morton’s of Chicago The Steakhouse, Morton’s Grill, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, IL Milione Michelin-Starred Italian Restaurant, The Butchers Club, Feather & Bone.

Patsy is well-respected by her clients as she always serves them with passion and professionalism.
